Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking your trip with us. These terms will come into effect once your booking is confirmed.
For all trips within Nepal, as well as for Tibet and Bhutan tours, a scanned copy of your valid passport and a 20% deposit of the total trip cost are required at the time of booking. This deposit confirms your reservation and is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations after confirmation.
• The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Kathmandu before the trip departure.
• For Tibet and Bhutan trips, the full balance is required at least 20 days before the departure date.
We reserve the right to cancel your trip if full payment is not received within the specified timeline.

We accept last-minute bookings for Nepal-based trips up to 3 days before departure, depending on availability. For Tibet and Bhutan, last-minute bookings are generally not possible due to government regulations and travel permits.
If you need to postpone your trip, a written request must be submitted. We offer free rescheduling if postponement is due to other health/safety concerns. The new travel dates must be confirmed with us in advance.
• The 20% deposit is non-refundable under all conditions.
• If you have paid more than the deposit, the remaining balance (after deducting the 20%) will be refunded via your original payment method.
All trips operated by Nepal Unique Treks adhere to the rules and regulations set by the tourism boards of Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet. We are not liable for cancellations or changes due to:
• Natural disasters
• Political unrest
• Flight cancellations
• Accidents or illness
• Vehicle issues
• Government decisions or border closures
Any additional expenses due to such circumstances must be borne by the client. Travel insurance is mandatory.
We are not liable for any refunds in case of incomplete trips due to personal reasons (illness, early departure, etc.).
If your trip is canceled due to war, natural disaster, or other unavoidable events, we will offer an alternative trip of equal value. Your money will not be lost, though your destination may change.
We require all clients to have comprehensive travel insurance covering:
• Medical emergencies and evacuations
• Trip cancellation/interruption
• Personal injury
• Loss or theft of gear/baggage
• Natural disasters and political unrest
In regions like Everest, Annapurna, Dolpo, or Jumla, flights may be delayed or canceled due to weather. We recommend carrying extra funds to cover food and lodging if this occurs. Nepal Unique Treks is not responsible for these extra costs.
If you commit any illegal or unethical behavior during your trip and are forced to leave the country, Nepal Unique Treks is not liable for refunds or compensation.
These terms and conditions apply only to trips booked directly through Nepal Unique Treks. If you book via a third party, their terms and conditions apply.
